Life is Interesting

Even though I spend a lot of time cleaning up after all the animals, I can't imagine life without them.

Dollhouses are my current hobby obsession. I still have all my horses, but until the shelves are up downstairs and I get them all tagged, I have stopped buying them.

I have the basement almost finished. I will finally be able to empty the living room of all the boxes.

 I want to get the big trains set up - finally! They will be fenced in to keep the dogs out. I am also excited for the fairy village. I have added a  couple of new houses to it.  It is the same scale (1/12) as the dollhouses so I can use extra mini yard accessories for it. I raised the bed up to keep the tortoises out, but they grew also....I guess I will raise it more.

I have lots of recipes for cooking for my parrots. I have made a page special with a lot of them.

Animals

I missed my Oreo so I bought another springer spaniel puppy. He is like holding a porcupine - all teeth.

I have pretty much stopped taking in animals. I am maxed out on time and space for them. I cut way back on the types I take as well, now it's just turtles and birds.

I  love to put a new pet (usually a parakeet) in a childs hands. On occasion I will give away a baby of mine, I never rehome a rescue.

I had a few frogs show up in the house again this year - they come in the doggy door - but no kids showed up at my door with 'lost' baby birds.
